44 Factory was founded on the creative foundation of Wearm — as a new phase, a new name, and a new responsibility.
Remaining true to its principles, the company unites years of experience into a modern format and contemporary approach — continuing the journey that began with creativity, dedication, and team spirit.
The story began in 2017, when five young professionals — a director, screenwriter, producer, designer, and editor — came together to launch the Wearm project. This platform combined media production, education, and digital content, with an emphasis on quality and originality.
In 2018, thanks to the trust and initiative of director Hrach Keshishyan, their first TV project, Detective Fred, was broadcast on ArmNews. The show quickly captured public attention and became a successful example of innovative television content.
Between 2019 and 2020, Wearm evolved into a distinctive media platform. The team produced a range of original shows, documentaries, educational materials, and training programs. During this period, Wearm School Armenia was also established — an educational initiative aimed at training a new generation of creative and tech-savvy professionals.
In 2020, when the war in Artsakh broke out, three members of the team — Armen Kocharyan, Onik Harutyunyan, and Mesrop Harutyunyan — volunteered for the frontlines.
Tragically, Mesrop Harutyunyan, co-founder and deputy director of Wearm, was killed in action, heroically.
His loss was a deep blow to the team — both personally and ethically. In 2022, Wearm officially ceased its activities, but the accumulated experience and values laid a solid foundation for a new path.
In 2025, 44 Factory was born.
Today, 44 Factory is the ideological and practical continuation of Wearm —
with a clearer structure, refined approach, and sustainable growth.
The same team, with new skills.
The same principles, in a new form.
The same depth, in a new direction.
